Guide Adam Nidoh will tell where to find trophy trout now that the Lackawanna River has rebounded from mine pollution.
Nidoh, who runs A&G Outfitters in Scranton with his father, Greg, will speak to the public at Nescopeck State Park on April 16 at 7 p.m.
The Western Pocono Chapter of Trout Unlimited sponsors the program, called from Yellowboy to Trophy Trout.
Nidoh will talk about fishing trips that he leads while describing efforts to clean up the river from acid mine drainage.
Better water quality has made the Lacawanna an economic asset that now attracts anglers and other visitors. In 2015, Trout Unlimited held is convention in Scranton to focus on the Lackawanna River.
Nidoh also leads trips on the Lehigh and Upper Delaware rivers.
To reserve a seat for his talk, telephone the park at 570-403-2006.
